September 5, 2012 – NorthgateArinso (NGA), a leading global HR services and technology company, today announced a strategic commitment to grow its Asian capabilities - opening its first office in Japan and affirming intentions to grow its Chinese operations.

The increased presence in Asia will enable NGA to serve multinational companies who need a global standard for their HR solutions. It will also provide a base from which to introduce custom HR services to locally based businesses and help existing global clients to enter smoothly into Asian market. The company has ambitious growth plans globally and plans to deliver a double digit growth in revenue in the region.

The new office will be based in Tokyo; it already has offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai as well as a delivery operation based at Dalian. NGA has 3,000 employees in the Asia Pacific region and provides HR software and services to multinational corporations such as AstraZeneca in China and Japan.

Gery Messer, NGA President for Asia Pacific, Japan and Middle East said: “Global businesses increasingly demand global solutions to their needs – and that includes HR services. Making a strategic commitment to affirm and grow our presence in this region shows that NorthgateArinso is capable of meeting these demands.

“NGA is uniquely positioned in the region to deliver HR solutions across a diverse landscape of local regulation and legislation. We have the experience to navigate multiple languages and are experts at developing solutions using rapidly developing new technologies.

“The Chinese and Japanese markets will provide a lot of opportunities for NGA to continue to expand and grow. Many Japanese businesses are also global businesses and we can help them to standardize their HR solutions across multiple regions. Increasingly Chinese businesses are looking to internationalize and NGA is perfectly positioned to help them also.

“We’ve already had some successes in the region and are looking forward to making more exciting announcements soon.”
